About Edoardo Ballerini

Edoardo Ballerini is an actor, narrator, writer, director, teacher and photography enthusiast.

He has appeared in over 50 films and tv shows, from The Sopranos  and Boardwalk Empire to the recent A Murder at the End of the World. Behind the mic he is the voice of over 600 audiobooks, and a two time winner of the Audiobook Publishers Association's Best Male Narrator Award.

For his work in narration he has been called "a master in his field" (The New York Times) and "in a class by himself" (Oprah Daily).

His short film Good Night Valentino premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is a part of the permanent archives of the Academy of Motion Pictures. He is also the co-creator of the Audible Original The Angel of Rome, with Jess Walter, and was recently a guest teacher at his alma mater, Wesleyan University.

The PD Collection began as a passion project to record Jack London's Martin Eden, a personal favorite of Edoardo's. Then a friend suggested he record a pair of Dostoevsky novellas, and suddenly The PD Collection began to take on a life of its own.

Edoardo also does frequent public readings and author talks, including recent appearances at The Charleston Literary Festival, The New York Public Library, The New York Parks Commission, The San Miguel Writers Conference, The Italian Consolate of NY, and the Kansas City Public Library. Next up: The Unbound Book Festival.
